Technically Pelee Island, Ontario is the closest to cleveland, But you would have to catch a ferry to get there. It is connected to both Canadian and US mainland by ferry service. (also the largest island in Lake Erie). Middle Island would be the southernmost point in Canada.

But since you will be driving, windsor is the closest (right accross the bridge from detriot. its about 3 hours if you follow the speed limit... about 2.5 if im driving. lol and roughly 170 miles.

I think Windsor, ON is the closest city in Canada to Cleveland, but you have to drive through Detroit, MI to get there. Alternatively, you could drive extra hour in the opposite direction and get to Niagara Falls.

Windsor - 2 hours and 45 minutes without traffic
Niagara Falls - 3 hours and 45 minutes without traffic

If you're driving definitely Windsor. You'd have to drive through Detroit & cross the bridge into Windsor. From what I remember, it's not very nice there. My guess, 3 hours.

Sorry 24 weeks, I said what you said! I didn't read your response first. Think of mine as a confirmation!

Closest small city: Chatham. Closest larger city: London. (Closest village town, probably Erieu on the lake.)

Driving time would depend on traffic and delay at border; at absolute minimum at speed limit it would be 3 3/4 hrs to Chatham.

Probably a map would be the best place for you to look.
