Why are alot of the Black women that arent shown that were models etc,that are dark skinned arent shown as much on T.V ,but why do your own suffer from selfesteem issues including yourself,do you feel intimidated when theres not a Safe looking blonde in a magazine,But its still a white world of course!

There really is alot of dark-skinned beautiful women. People only like european beauty though it's boring, since it's standard. Everything else people are ashamed of is so beautiful. Things I haven't seen or heard before. Beautiful. And if people think that only one thing is beauty while others are not. They will never see with open eyes. **** european, and american standards. I'm back to my roots, and it feels so much better.

Mainly to try to keep us hating ourselves, a carry over from the days of slavery. We've been taught to hate our skin, features and our hair for so long that it's almost second nature.

Its all attitude, have you ever noticed that light skin black women carry themselves different than dark skin black women? the same goes for men of different shades. this was a trick of slavery, light skin.........in the house, dark skin............in the field and thus we always wanted to be in the house.

um beyonce is no bi racial and no thats not true at all you're just culturally deprived - gabriel union, traci bingham, sanaa lathan, model Naomi Campbell, tyra banks, have you seen Americas next top model? there are so many pretty black girls on there; kelly rowland, previous miss world or whatever (she was nigerian), stacey dash, thandie newton, ashanti,vivica fox, holly robinson pete, zoe zaldana, aaliyah, etc. our society does tend to set a european standard of beauty though....

no, they are not ugly. Our SOCIETY stereotypes on the fine features as being PRETTY; but, that's a bunch of crap. god made us all the way he wanted us to be. However, the media is a part of society and also judges beauty on a "white" standpoint!
