I gave up candy....haven't given in once....but I REALLY want candy now that I think about it!!!

You don't have to count the Sundays - forty days of Lent from ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday!

Since you brought it up...I'm not Catholic but I have a friend who is--and not a practicing one mind you--but he had the nerve to tell me he gave up being promiscuous for Lent. What??? I thought you were supposed to give up something like red meat or wine or picking your nose???

When I was younger I gave up sugar in my tea for lent and since then I hate tea with sugar in.
