Of coarse they are happy, and it will now fall in Bush's hands if he holds up the Military funding. The Republicans filled all of their 14 years of "Majority Congress" rule with pork and 300 George Bush signing statements. The Republicans don't have anything to complain about, this is good for America here as well as the Military in Iraq. It's really called balance that America voted for last election.

Actually... many leaders of our Armed Forces are saying that they actually NEED to stay in Iraq until the job is done and to send MORE troops, not less. The troops are cheering that George W. Bush is going to veto the resolution when it gets to his desk.

Bet they didn't. Our brave troops realize we need to stay there until it has a stable government and police/military of its own - cut and run would mean disaster. Our troops know what's really going on over there and what really needs to happen - not cowards like you.

No. I'm sure the terrorists did though. Now they can bring the fight to the USA.

I hope all of you anti-millitary fanatics are happy.

If you really think that bringing our troops home will end this war, then you're in need of a brain transplant

If they cheered, they were fools. There's a long way to go before it happens.
