Bleeding during pregnancy is never considered "normal", but bleeding during the first trimester is fairly common. Between 20-25% of women who go on to have healthy babies experience some bleeding in the first trimester.
Of course, if you have more than slight bleeding, or you have any pain or cramping, you should call your doctor. It could be a sign of a miscarriage.

Sometimes it is normal to have a bit of spotting during the first trimester of a pregnancy...which you are currently in. However, sometimes it is not. You, nor I, are a doctor, so you honestly should seek medical attention for them to do an ultrasound and make sure that everything is okay. Also, another thing you should do is get plenty of rest, with feet and hips elevated, perhaps with a pillow or two (which can lessen bleeding in some cases), as well as plenty of water!
This could be an indication that you are having a miscarriage, or it could be nothing. But the thing is, you will never know until you go to the doctor. And there may be something they can do for you, or not...but in either case, it's better to find out now, rather than later when it's too late!
Good luck hun!

depending on the severity of the bleeding it can be normal, If it's light, brown/pink spotting this is normal, if the bleeding is heavy and red then you need to go to the doctors immediately because that is a sign of something seriously wrong as well as miscarriage..
Is their pain accompanied by the bleeding?
I know when i had my first miscarriage i dodn't know i was pregnant, i started bleeding i thought it was just my period i mean it was just like my normal period however my periods last 5 days long and by the end of the seventh day i was still bleeding and that is when i started getting severe pains in lower abdomin and lower back, i also had huge clots the size of a golf ball and bigger so the next day i went to the doctor they did a urine test which came out negative and then a did a blood test which came out positive, that is when they diagnoses me with threatened pregnancy, i continued to carry the baby for 2 months then finally miscarried..
Either way go to the doctors to make sure it's not an ectopic pregnancy, a miscarriage ect..Have you tried taking another pregnancy test? i would suggest taking another test while waiting to see the doctor to see if the results have changed..
good luck!

You can keep it secret for your parents if you must but there is no need to keep it secret from a Dr. Go to Planned Parenthood. If it is a light bleed then it may be fine but if it persits it can be miscarriage or worse an ectopic pregnancy. I had an ectopic pregnancy a year and a half ago. I ignored the bleeding and I endud up ruturing my tube and bleeding internally for hours. The internal bleeding is very serious. Plesae go to Planned Parenthood or your regular doctor. They can do a simple ultrasound to determine if it is an ectopic pregnancy.

First, how old are you? Second, how heavy is your bleeding. If it is some light spotting and it only lasts a couple of days then i wouldn't worry to much. But if it is really heavy followed by cramps i would go to the ER. IN Pregnancy if you have worries about anything though you should talk to your doctor. Good luck =)
