i heard he is payed even more than baseball players and they are supposed to be the biggest making athletes????? i truly dilike his choices and i know im not alone but any ways is it true??

I believe the highest PAID athlete in the world is Alex Rodrigeuz of the New York Yankees at $25 million dollars a year. By that I mean, that is his guarenteed salary.
Tiger Woods EARNED more. Forbes magazine estimates he made something like $87 million dollars but that is not guarenteed salary. He doesn't get a pay check at the end of the month for playing golf. What he makes is based on how well he performs and how many tourniments he plays.
Rodrigeuz gets his salary regardless.

Yes, Beckham is the highest paid althete. He's being paid $250 million by LA Galaxy soccer team of the MLS. He's being paid more than Tiger Woods.

Beck's got himself a really big contract. But on the due course of 5 years, that makes it quite reasonable. Some footballer do make a lot of money. If in terms of yearly, I know that Ronaldinho had been payed 30 mil pounds last year, so that would be a little bit more than Becks.

He sucks he just want money not play Soccer. For Example, He hasnt told the Real Madrid coach if he could play in a game. He also doesnt do charity like Zidane he helps children right now not like Beckham and his wife want to be all rich they want to be richer than Bill Gates(Director of the Microsoft Company).

I dont know if he is the highest paid athelete nut i do know that when he comes to America to play, he is going to paid as much as 4 MLS teams pay for their entire roster

david beckham is overrated by people who dont know anything about soccer, and underrated by soccer fans. i think he does deserve it in a way, but i also think that he doesnt have to put that much effort into his game because he is already gauranteed 250 million + bonuses.
