Whether or not you're caring for another child will not cause you to miscarry. Otherwise, no one would have siblings! The stress of caring for a child can cause you to have a stressful pregnancy, but it won't cause you to lose the baby you're carrying. As for the pain, make an appt. w/ your ob/gyn ASAP. You could be experiencing an ectopic pregnancy and therefore have a likely chance of miscarrying if not treated in time. If it's the lack of insurance that's a concern, go to the emergency room at the local hospital. After you receive a bill from the hospital, you'll need to apply for Charity Care. Basically, they'll ask you to provide them w/ proof of income and from there they can assist you w/ filling out the necessary forms so they can charge off the bill. Good luck!

I think you're asking for us to GUESS if ur gona miscarry. Some menstrual/like pain is normal during the 1st trimester. Having miscarried doesn't mean you will again.
Try not to carry your 3 y/o as much as possible and take it easy the 1st 14 weeks. Travel is safe according to Dr's, also, amke sure you take prenatal vitamins to prevent all kinds of probs, you can get those over the counter.
Good luck!
Somebody mentioned an ectopic pregnancy - You'd probably be dead by now if you had an ectopic pregnancy for 9 wks, don't worry about that - I had an ecotopic and u'd be in severe pain with internal bleeding by the 7th TOPS 8th week

Worrying is probably going to create more stress than flying.
Be sure to hydrate well on the flight--drinking several bottles of water (maybe 5 or 6). You can buy a couple big bottles at the airport (after security) and then go through them as your flight progresses (you might want an aisle seat though as you will be getting up). Don't rely on the ones they give you--be a bit proactive on this.
Good luck.

Miscarriage is definitely more common in the first trimester, but is usually a result of a fetal abnormality, an infection in the mother (like listeria), or a disease/medical condition in the mother. If you are healthy and are not experiencing sharp pain or bleeding... than what you're feeling is probably just your uterus expanding/stretching. But from the sounds of it you've given birth before... so, did you experience this in your other pregnancy?
Women manage to carry babies to term and not miscarry in extremely stressful and physically taxing conditions. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. I'm sure you'll be fine. Just stay hydrated, eat well, rest when tired... and listen to you body.

Hiya. You need to be on the safe side sweetie and go and get it checked no matter what.
Doctors take that sort of pain complaint seriously to make sure that you are going to be ok and your baby.
With my pregnancy now 37 weeks, i had ovarian pain and had a scan at just 3 weeks and they found i had an ovarian cyst. They acted quickly as they had to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, My cyst grew very large and started causing pain. I was very lucky it disappeared on its own and my baby survived it.
Now i am not saying you have anything like this but you need to get checked out before your flight. It can happen to anybody.
I have a 3 year old and believe me, it wore me out and i needed the extra support.
Take care of yourself x

A little pain is normal, it is your ligaments and uterus stretching to accomodate . Traveling will not increase your chances and neither will moderate amounts of stress (like dealing with a three year old on a plane). One miscarriage does not make it more likely to have a second , just try to relax as much as possible and hopefully your doctor will be able to give you some reassurance. Good Luck =)

Worrying can make it worse first of all. I hope and pray that you are able to have your baby. Maybe you can get someone to help you with your 3 year old. Get as much rest as possible. As soon as you are able to get a doctor GO IMMEDIATELY. The pain might be because of something else. It really could be due to a number of reasons. I'd say just take it easy. Stay off your feet as much as possible and relax until you can get to a doctor. I hope everything works out for you.

Usually, miscarriage is not caused by any of these things, it just happens. I would advise not to stress out about it because if it is going to happen, it's going to happen. Take it easy, as much as possible, but don't worry too much. You've made it to 9 weeks - just continue to count the days. Tell yourself, "I've made it 9 weeks and 1 day"; "I've made it 9 weeks and 3 days," until safety.
