I wana get one so I can become a Jedi Knight and go to outer space and not clean my room.

I had one once...didn't last long. Cleaning rooms is easy with the force...
The primitive people of this planet don't have an energy source effective enough to make lightsabers of their own.
Also, the Jedi Academy is currently not accepting applications...check back again later!

lightsabers can't exist at the moment, we don't have the technology...
