Bah i hate agreeing with a right or left, but you have a point. Liberalism by fault is made to accomidate people rather than actual structure. It is sloppy and empathic, not taking into account that people are not all hole hearted and good. Social reform for example is widely abused and would eat the american economy if it werent for the input of the republicans. But by the same hand republican beliefs center more around structure and less around empathy, granted order means no chaos, but it also means less freedom. And a inherent social darwinism that stunts personal advancement.

You are being awfully selective.
First, nobody is taking the religion of of America. Not everybody is Christian. Get it!? While I do see this as having gone a little bit overboard, every effort to make a major change in society does that and over time, a better balance is found.
We are already paying 100% of the hospital bill for many people who pay absolutely nothing (particularly unmarried men in their 20s) or people who cannot get health insurance who are willing to pay for it. Universal Health Care would at least get everybody paying something unless they are very poor. My issue with Universal Health Insurance is that many things that are included are extraordinary medical care. You don't have the right to bankrupt others to live forever. You are aware, of course, that every time someone goes to the emergency room and can't pay for it that it comes out of your taxes right? I was actually in that situation once 10 years ago--both the ambulance ($600) and the emergency room ($900) were paid by taxpayers even though I had insurance. I had a $2000 deductible and no job due to illness.
Government should be involved in your life: You point out welfare. I point out anti-abortion. That is way more invasive, yet Conservatives want government to decide for me what is best for me and my body! I would also point out that most welfare dollars are going to aid people who ARE WORKING in the form of health care usually because their employer does not provide it!
Liberals want to delimit: what a lot of gobledeegook. Try to speak English.
Meaning you are bad you are no longer a part of society: How is this a problem. As I recall, Texans wanted the fast-track to the death penalty. Does that mean Texans are liberal or socialist?

Why do people think socialism is bad .
Socialism http://www.bartleby.com/65/so/socialis.html
now you have got to admit that more people are workers and very few are owners .
This creates a conflict between the classes , causes inflation as hard working people begin to have more they also create more wealth for the rich .
This widens the gap between the haves and have nots .
Government has tried to introduce social programs to offset the inequities and still to this day has been unsuccessful in doing so .
A properly managed system of socialization may not be possible but a tax system which is graduated does smooth out the bumps .
I see nothing wrong with such a system and we can still call it capitalism .
This is the rub . both the rich and the poor feel it is wrong to charge one group of people 75% taxes while charging another 25% taxes .
This is because people do not view the situation properly .
Its not about taxes its about the benefit derived from taxes .
We all contribute to the pie . yet some people take a much larger piece home at the end of the day .
Not because they work any harder but because of the system itself that rewards white christians and Centuries old Jewish business practices to take advantage of the working class that actually does all the work .
To deny them a larger share of the work they have done is criminal .

Thats their goal. There are many more examples as well. Sueing when ever someone attempts to put a law on the books that would actually be affective. Hamstringing law enforcement. Eroding social structure. Dividing the people. The list is LONG. Basically, the scum that is the liberal left Democratic party are communists who have taken over the party as well as other positions of power such as the media.

And your point is? If you are bad in a conservative society are you to be rewarded?
God was not meant to be a part of this country despite what all you cons say. Jefferson wanted to make sure that religion did not interact with government. The several hundred years of that type of society had ruined Europe and many of our founding fathers realized this and tried to keep religion out of the state.
And for those that promote religion, what could be more Christian that a health care system that covers all? You Cons talk the talk but when it comes to acting like Christians you cannot walk the walk.

Dude - 10 deep breaths, slowly. I don't want your religion. I want whatever religion I practice with the right for others to do the same. God has a place in our country, just not in our government.
I am concerned about your comment on gov't in our lives. The recent revelations about the FBI and the PATRIOT Act abuses should scare everyone about intrusions into our lives, regardless of whether it's lib or con.

This can swing both ways:
1. Enforcing religion on those who don't believe in it
2. W spoke about doing the same thing, but with "savings accounts". Of course nothing has actually been done about our healthcare crisis during his presidency, though.
3. involved in your life, ie. making abortion illegal
4. I don't understand what you mean on this example.
5. Meaning its no longer acceptable to use the "N" word in society? Or that women should be paid equally? Darn those bleeding heart ACLU libs!

you talk about others "nonsense"... HAHAHAH
it's pretty clear your in such a deep hole, you don't have a clue where the light is anymore...
"liberals want to delimit the interation of individuals"? What?
individual rights forfetited? what? conservatives want to throw everyone in jail and "get them out of the society"....
can you even explain half of what you're talking about? I've NEVER heard these last two... some of the others I can at least understand...but you went to "crazy land" the farther you go on...
LOOK, I'm sure some super fringe groups may have some crazy ideas... but you clearly have lost focus on what's "fringe extremists" and who most liberals are...
this post would be like me saying all conservatives hate soldiers and want to protest their funerals because America supports abortion... because that one little group of crazy conservatives did it...
conservatives are just floating away into this little land where all liberals are evil and they are the ulitmate good in every situation... and you know what... you're leaving 90 percent of the population behind... bye...

Liberals are not pushing socialism. To address the specifice fictions you wrote:
>Unlike the right-wing, most liberals are real Christians--and believe in religious freedom (BTW, if you even knew what "socialism" meant--it has nothing todo with religion either way)
>Would you rather have universal health care by private individuals and employers, or do you want to keep providing it with your tax money, as you do now?
>Considerin gthe degree to which the right -wing has cheered Bush's invasion of Americans privacy by spying (illegally) you just look silly on this one.
>Care to translate this one into English?
>The key here is that, unlike Bush and the right wing, liberals insist on due process and fair trials before "excluding someone from society." If that's socialism (it isn't) guilt and proud of it!

God has a place in any/all countries.
Now if we're talking about YOUR God, meaning your twisted view of religion and how it should make the laws and govern the people, then no, it has absolutely no place.
God to you people is whatever you happen to believe and how it can force everyone else into your way of thinking.
Sorry buddy, the First Amendment covers me as much as it covers you. Thank the founding fathers who escaped England's religious oppression.
Read about our history once in a while before you open your ignorant mouth.
I love how you sheep want to put your version of "God" into everything as you see fit and then claim we're trying to turn the country into a socialistic society because we want to utilize one of the Bill of Rights.
Moron.
The above poster couldn't be any more correct. Well said.
