Try this: Get a pillowcase and fill it with rice.(regular rice, not minute rice) Tie the end with a rubber band.(if you're crafty, you can sew the end) Firmer pillow=more rice, Loose pillow=less rice. Place in microwave for two to three minutes. Place on aching back and enjoy the relief! I am 28 weeks and i have been suffering from back pain since i was 16 weeks and this is the only thing that gives me some temporary relief. I hope it works for you.

My wife and I purchased a selectcomfort bed (You can adjust the firmness of the bed). Our old bed did not have enough support for her when she was pregnant. You may feel like you sleep alright in your bed but you end up with back pain during the day. The beds range from $1,000-4,000. Not cheap but you do spend a 1/3 of your life in bed. Or you could get a more firm mattress. I have had two back surgeries so I know the feeling. Hope this helps.

-try getting up and walking around for a while about every half hour
-get a small travel pillow to put at the back of your chair
-try putting your feet up a little for elevation under your desk
-get up and stand straight up against a wall with your shoulders touching the wall for a few minutes a day. that might help stretch your back a bit

Hiya. Baths help. Hot water bottles are good too. Rememeber good posture and good pillow support for your back. I have back pain (37 weeks) for ages now and sitting at the desk hurts me most. Take regular breaks and walk around to straighten your spine.
Hope you feel better soon x

I'm an ice skater and we are constantly putting pressure on our lower backs. What helps me is to lay on the floor back down and roll my hips and leggs from side to side very gently. When doing this be sure to keep your shoulders on the ground, or it won't help.

i would try a heating pad, or maybe one of those vibrating mats that go on a chair and see if that will help, maybe if you get something that supports the arch in your back that will help
they have those kind of pillows at most maturnity stores
