I used to have to drive at least 5 miles to a crappy grocery, or 20 miles to the "good" one. Now that I've moved to a different city, the nearest grocery is only 4 blocks away! And it's not a bad walk!

Umm it's about 2 miles away. Not too far, like a 2 minute drive.

Two miles to Tom Thumb. But I prefer to shop at Kroger which is about 3 - 4 miles away.

I can walk to the nearest one, but it isn't very clean. I drive about 5 miles to do my shopping.

there's a Kroger's about 5 miles away in Gross Pointe. yet except that there is not any grocery shops in Downtown Detroit. there is talk of putting complete ingredients save yet which could fall by because the serciuty expenses have become the way.
