need product number for windows 98

If the software was already install on the computer when you bough it, then they number should be on the computer on a sticker. If you bought the software from a store, it should either be on the box or the cd case.

Should be on the CD for Win 98 SE you Purchased
If not CD, since the Number is encrypted in the Win 98 System... tough :-)

Win 98 is nolonger supported by MS.....I heard you can call them and acually get a free copy, but i don;t know if that's true..

NOTE: NOT SAFE
you can try searching the web for it but many of the sites that may provide the serial may provide you with a trojan or some other bad thing...

If you run this program, it tells you everything that you have on your computer. It will tell you the product number that you need. Once you have all the information, print it out, for future use..Good Luck>>
