Many of the dollars we spend on imported oil are going to nations that support radical Islamist terrorists against whom we're engaged in a global war. We are in fact fighting a war on terrorism and paying both sides of the war. We are sending troops and dollars to fight for freedom and democracy all over the world, and we are sending money to the people who don't like us. Instead of both parties fighting each other in government, and citizens bickering shouldn't we come together, and set America free by focusing on existing technologies for cheap alcohol based fuels. Don't you think we must all come together immediatly to reduce our dependence on foreign fuel rather than waste another quarter of a century coming to terms with our dependence on foreign oil. Why not stop spending your time debating the war, debating whose the best, and email your congressmen on this issue, and talk about ways to make this happen!

Yep, do away with the dependence on foreign oil.
We should all give up our cars. buy donkeys. Will just have to clean up the poop daily. That's all
You will not have long to worry about the dependence. With the lack of domestic manufacturing in this nation. There will be no one who can afford gas, especially at $3.00 a gallon or more.
Everyone looks at the dependence on foreign oil. Why do you not look at the dependence on foreign manufacturing? Why do you not look at the fact the USA is now a debtor nation, a Service nation. There are more people in government and health care than in the private industry in this nation.
Is that not a more dire problem? We do have the ability and the resources at our beck, if we will do what is needed. Do the Politicians care? I say not. If they can keep your eyes focused on the dependence of foreign oil. You will not see what is and has been before your eyes for at least 20 years. Look at the products you purchase. Look at the labels.
I said back in the 70s this nation is headed for doom. You cannot make $30.00 an hour and purchase products made at $3.00 a day in another country. We are because of that at the mercy of the Chinese and small countries of South east Asia/India. Even a good portion of our military supplies come from foreign countries.
I would say to you my friend, E-mail your congressmen on those issues. Forget this dependence on foreign Oil.
It is just a smoke screen.
There is a war, yes, however it is a war we did,do not want to fight. It is a war with Islam. They have declared war on you if you are Jew/Christian or of the western culture.
All of the other stuff falls into oblivion.
Suggest you ask your senator and/or Congressman about the job market. See where he/she stands. If any answer other than manufacturing jobs. If the jobs are service/government/health related It is Bullship. They tie the economy to the housing market. I have heard this statement many times. The housing market drives the economy. If that is true, the economy is in dire straits. The economy should drive the housing market. Think about it. A stable economy has to be driven by the production of industry. That means there must be a manufacturing Job base. Kick it around. See if your eyes will see the truth.

It has become common knowledge that U.S. multinational corporations have instigated this terrible murder of innocent people to steal their oil and profits. THEY HATE democracy anywhere they do business and regularly hire mercenaries to kill civilians and overthrow Democratic states in foreign countries where they do business. Look it up.
