I don't know how else to explain what the problem is, other than there are some applications or embedded content on websites that just show up as a white box with an inactive scrollbar in it...These boxes used to be things such as a playlist or an embedded video. But I don't know what happened. All of a sudden they won't show up...I've tried updating my shockwave and adobe flash player..but nothing seems to work. I am so confused...sorry I have no better way of explaining :(.
Oh, also; it's almost as if it's a .swf file...because when I put my mouse over it. The border I usually get for flash files shows up around it..then I can click it and it goes away (like with other .swf extensions).
I really hope I explained it well enough...It's hard to verbally express it haha..
Please help me! It's really starting to bug me and I can't do certain things on the pc because of it.
Thank you for your time

Yea, it sound like a flash problem, but could also be java. Either way (or both) reinstall from the sources (Adobe and Sun) instead of using a 3rd party installer.

If you right click the window that 'should' be there, maybe you can get a better idea on the application (flash will say so)...or you can view source to see what is trying to load.

I have a pop-up blocker that asks me to allow temporarily before I can see web page graphics, so maybe you have one blocking them.
