what if i exceed fmla hrs by 4 days due to still being ill.?

doctor documented that i was still sick and has filled out return to work paper but employer is trying to terminate me

I am afraid this is in the hands of the company. They can terminate you for any reason unless you are under union protection. .

It depends mainly on your company. The one i worked for would fire you for one minute more, even with doctors excuse.
You should and need a doctors excuse and work with the company. Do you have medical leave with them?
