I plan on waiting to the end of my second trimester and maybe send them a picture of an ultra sound or just a picture of my big belly. Just so they aren't totally shocked when we come and visit them in the summer.

To my family, I just told them. At work I posted a note on my board that said "Mommy to be." Everyone was just as excited. To those friends who live a distance from me I sent them an email to let them know I was pregnant and doing well.

By just telling them I am expecting. Most people see my belly and ask me if I am pregnant.

I am not pregnant yet, but I know exactly how I plan to let people know when I am. I plan to buy those shirts that say #1 Grandpa or Grandma or something like that. Let them open them and be confused and shocked.

I just told them I was pregnant. But a friend of mine spelled out baby with wooden blocks.

First told the ones that i loved that i was expecting and then told the other people around me. Don't remember the exact dialog but everyone was excited when they heard the news.

I told my family i was pregnant with my second child at my wedding.
(my First son has a different dad than my husband and my second child.)

I told our family in person, just told them they were going to be grandparents. Once they knew we sent out text messages to everyone else and all it said was " I'm pregnant!!!!!"

my fiance was on the phone when i took the test. he was at work and i was at my work and i just couldn't wait to get home to take it. he made me take another as soon as i walked in the door b/c he couldn't believe it was positive!!! well i did and he was very happy!!! i am now 29 weeks pregnant and we cannot wait till our baby girl gets here!!! i told my mother on the phone and she called the rest of the family and told them.

I got out our Scrabble board and spelled out NEW BABY COMING IN OCTOBER. Arranged how you play scrabble. Then I took a picture of the board. I e-mailed the picture to our family that have e-mail and snail mailed it to the rest. They thought it was pretty neat.
