when i was seven or 8 i dreamt that i was being chased by a huge purple witch that wanted to eat me (actually, it looked like something out of that old muppets show). i hated that dream, it was the only time i ever woke up in a fright and cold sweat!

My worst night mare was in 1996, I was 8 mos pregnant and dreamed that I gave birth in the middle of a dessert and these huge earth worms came up and stole my daughter out of my hands and ate her.

Erm... A nuclear bomb went off in the sky, quite a few miles off. I heard an allmighty squeal, the air was sucked right out of my ears painfully. I then decided that I was gonna die, so I laid down on the floor to die. I was totally accepting death, thinking it was the end, curiously no life flashing before my eyes, possibly because my subconscious knew it was a dream and didn't believe I would die.
Miraculously I survived somehow, I got up and ran into a foggy haze, waking up and expecting to die any second...

I dreamt I was an amry officer in this strange, sort of eutopia world but it was like the Invasion of the bodysnatchers and one by one people became part of the alien race (although they all looked human), like they became possessed. I ended up running away until I was surrounded. I commited suicide with my gun then, rather than become one of them. It was really f*cked up.

When I was 6 I dreamed of a brown bear chasing me and my mom, I woke up just before it got me. Alaska brown bears are huge to a full grown human, to a 6 year old, its size can compare to dinosaur! :)

Mine was at a cemetary for what was believed to be my parents funeral. And I read the dates on the headstones and they were in the future and on the same day . . . Hope i'm not psychic!

the other night i dreamt there was a woman upstairs shooting through the floor, and i could only escape with my son, and i had other family members in the house...so sad

My nightmares were when I was young, also. I was in a dark jungle, and giant wild animals were charging at me. That was a common one for me. (Probably representing my crazy parents.)
