Teach her, or do it many times that she will pick up with you and learn how to do it rightly, maybe one day exceeding your own ways too.

Did I just hear you say, "Keep her in line" What is century are you living in? She's not some dog you train OK? He's a human being first of all. Who gave you the right to think that she must be kept in line? WOMEN ARE NOT PETS TO TRAIN! They have just as much right as you do. I think the question that needs to be asked is, how should your wife keep you in line because you're out line.

dude, you need to start with a cage. keep her in it for about 2 weeks. keep her nude and only feed her bread and water 3 times a day.this will help bring her self esteem down and basically erase all those years of mental programming. by the end of two weeks, you should have a blank mind that you can easily train by useing a reward system. when she follows your command, allow her a few bites of real food. slowly work the rewards up to if she is a good girl, you can take her for a walk around the block, on a leash of course. by then you should have her eating out of your hands, litterally. (HaHaHa, what a comedian)

I think you could've put the question in a different way, maybe u didn't mean to say it that way (Trainnnn!!! =S), anyways to keep the relationship going well and on the right path, you BOTH need to respect each other no matter what and communicate so u guys dont grow apart, good luck, relaxx and congrats!
PS: keep ur relationship between u two, dont seek for advices when u can both solve things together.

Well, the first thing is...your wife is not a dog so you don't need to "train" her! The only person you control in your relationship is you. Treat her with love, respect, and kindness and you will receive the same back from her.

If you want to "train" someone... get a dog. Your wife is an adult. You need to be honest, show respect, and trust her. Without all of those things, you have nothing.

A nice flexible switch on the rear........no, just kidding.....dude, I've been married 23 years.....forget it you will never win. The secret to a happy marriage is let her win.......even though you KNOW you are right. I can list the times I have actually won an argument, or had my way, on my two hands.......

Hope you're not Catholic with that attitude....she'll annul quicker than you can say "yes, dear."
Treat her with respect....Love her as Christ loves the church.
1) Love your wife as Christ loved the church. Give yourself up for your wife. [Ephesians 5:25]
This is the premier command for husbands and the verse that I roll around my head on a daily basis. Christ's love for the church was without reserve. He gave up everything for the church, even His very life! His love was extravagant and given before anyone in the church loved Him. His love was not dependant upon our love for Him. Likewise we must ask God for more creative ways that we can give ourselves up for our wives. This may mean a radical change in your thinking of how you serve God and do ministry. Any ministry that takes you away from your wife and leaves her thinking that your ministry is more important than her must be quit immediately. God created marriage first. Man created what we call "ministry". God wants us to love our wives and to serve Him and give ourselves to Him. Often times we are too busy doing other things to obey this cardinal command for husbands: Love your wife as Christ loved the Church.

Shes not a dog that you can train. If you didn't like the way she was before or worried about it before then you shouldn't have married her.
