I hear clothes are cheap in the Philippines..but are they tiny? I am a size 12 / 32 ..and that's not a 'plus' size but it may be large to some people. I'm contemplating either buying new clothes here in Canada or wait till the Philippines. What do you think? What is their biggest size there without going to a specialty plus size store?

most clothes in the Philippines are sized to extra small, small, medium, large, extra large and xxx large.if you're size 12/32, the best option size you can get is around large. yes, there are plus sizes store in the Philippines, but I don't think you need to go there, because by just getting a medium to large size clothes, you're good.
Of course, I think it's best to buy clothes in the Philippines 'coz its cheaper and there's lot of local designer clothes. The best to do is to make sure the store you're buying at has a fitting room so you could fit any clothes you're buying.

I'm not sure about the international sizing...but I usually fit into a Medium which is like size 4 when I buy clothes in Mango. But most stores have the largest size around XL. But there are a only a few number of stores that carry plus size clothes but it comes cheaper than what you can get in Canada I think.

it is cheap to buy clothes here in the Philippines. You can go to any malls.
In my own experience i can still buy clothes at any stores with out going to a plus size section.
i wear a 2x to 3x but when my sister buys me clothes in the states i am only large

You have to bear in mind that the phils. is already a melting pot of all nation. There are lots of other nationalities of all sizes already leaving in especially in manila. Clothing company already made sure that other nationalities will also be catered by them. there might be some changes in size like what was said in other question, in manila you might be using 3xl compare to large in canada, but still you can find comfortable clothing in manila.

better shop in manila,it's far cheaper than canada and you'll have a wide range of choices and a good time shopping.
the large sizes are good enough for you. don't worry, most brands have varying sizes that suits almost everybody. just ask for your size.
most malls- robinsons,glorietta,ayala,shangri-la, sm malls,rustans have department stores that offers good and affordable clothes.

i think that if you are going here anyway then you should just shop here!im pretty sure they have your size.yes there are clothes here that are freakin tiny.thats cause most of the filipina woman have like a 12yrs old body.but anyways.shop here its cheaper!

XXL in the phils is just equal to an S or XS in the US.
