I don't think so. A good rule is if you have to ask you probably shouldn't do it. Even if your office is casual, you should still want to present yourself as professional, right?

If you want to wear flip-flops, please don't wear anything besides Havaianas. It's the "in" thing now... Havaianas are exceptionally well built, comfortable, and last a long time. Also, a company sells Havaianas that are encrusted with Swarovski crystals.
These would go nicely with most anything in the office work wear genre of skirts and blouses. I think they are dressy enough for most offices, but exceptionally comfortable as well!
btw, I have ordered from this company before and would highly recommend them!

I would say no. All the places I have worked at, asked for a formal dressing: dress, skirt, pants, blouses, nylon with skirt or dress. You would gain more respectability from your boss if you dress properly, the flip flop won't be a good idea.

I wear them and I work at a real state office. It depends the style and what kind of work u do there.

As much as I wish we could, I know that in mostly all the office settings I've worked in they are not allowed. Company image is very important.

no, i dont think its really appropriate (esppecially the cheapy ones for 5 bucks at old navy).
if you have a flip flop with a heel - for instance like a sophisticated black one. regular flip flops are just too casual.

depends on how the flip flops look and if everybody else is wearin' them, what kind of office it is,and what the rest of the dress code is.of course you can't wear them if everybody is uptight and wears suits and dresses but if t-shirts and shorts are the norm then WHO CARES???

I wear slippers and filp flops allll the time but then again I work all by myself in my office

it depends where you work...i've been barefoot in a lot of work settings...
get nice flip flops if you are not sure...

I do. But my office is extremely laid back. I mean everyone where's jeans everyday.
