Divorce him asap..
If you can't afford it, and you live in the UK you should be able to get legal aid.
If he has the debts in his name and can't pay them, because you are married to him they may come looking for you to pay his bills.
Make sure that you get it in writing that you don't owe anything on debts incurred by him after he left you, and if you can remember the exact date he left make sure you inform a lawyer or a solicitor.
Even if he comes back to you, chances are that he will leave again on the first whim.. don't let him use you.. stand firm and get rid of him.
Good luck.

Hire a lawyer asap and get on with your life, also longer you wait the more time he has to spend any monies you where entitled to from the marriage,
more loans means more debt, any assets of his that you may have been entitled to from the marriage maybe wipe out by the loans, you need to get moving and put a halt to this

As long as you're still legally married, your responsibility during the marriage is 50%. Regardless of whether he left or not. Have the court issue an order stating that you are no longer responsible for any debts he incurs, ASAP.

Depends where he has the loans registered too, if its you property it could get a bit messy especially if he has used the collateral of the property, unless you rent then you should seek advise but i wouldn't have thought so, It would help if you can prove that he has taken steps on moving out, then if he is still using your address that could be classed as fraud. and I would defiantly start divorce proceedings. He so like a right uncaring person. good luck.

any debt (living in the same house or not) while still married is both of your debt. even after the divorce. because you were married at the time - it will be on you to take care of it --quit supporting the other woman and get a divorce! now!!

if you live in a community property state, you might be screwed whether you get a divorce ASAP or not. check with a lawyer in your area (they should offer a free consultation) about what your rights are. then get the divorce.

You should consult a family law attorney IMMEDIATELY to protect yourself. At this time, you could be held responsible for one half of his new loans. Call an attorney TODAY.

not sure what country you are in, but in uk, no your not liable if the debts are taken after he has moved out, but make sure they are not in your address, if they are and you know the company then write to them and tell them he's not living there.. dont just forward mail. return to sender stating he doesnt live there and give them forwarding address. hope that helps, best to get divorced quick
