what does plasmolysed mean?

i'm doing this projet on osmosis so i wondered what it meant.

It refers to a cell which was placed into a hypertonic solution. When the water leaves the cell, the cell collapses and is said to be plasmolyzed.

The cell doesnt collapse but the cell membrane shrinks in away from the cell wall becoming crenated.
