I work in a food supermarket and can't understand how or why people are so picky about whats available to them. People wont buy food thats slightly squashed or misshaped..... Hang on a minute arent there people starving in 3rd world countries?! I think people are too selfish, anyone agree?

Theres no incentive to buy damaged goods when there is an unblemished item sitting right next to it. Thats why grocers mark down damaged goods, because they are damaged! The 3rd world has nothing to do with it. Not everything is a political statement.
