I said I would be a bridesmaid at a wedding and on the day of said event, I couldn't make myself go. I lived in a city about 300 miles away and I had to work that day, but I probably could've made arrangements to have gotten off ifI really wanted to. But I didn't want to.
I couldn't make myself go.
I tried calling...only got an answering machine and explained my situation for the most part. I think I used the excuse that I had to work and couldn't get out of it.
I remember being very depressed at the time. I know I wasn't thinking correctly. Being at a wedding was the last place I wanted to be.
Still, I think it was a horrible thing to do.
It was more than 20 years ago and I think about it from time to time. Her happiest day coincided with one of my worst and I probably ruined hers in the process.
I think I've paid for that mistake several times over. Maybe I'm not through paying yet either. I've never really tried to track her down...I have no idea where she is now.
Maybe I'll try to do that soon. I think life would be a bit easier if I did.

Broke someone's skull, attemted murder that one reason not to drink to excess.He was in a comma for 2 weeks and I had nightmares for about 7 years over the incident.

walked out on a check-
(and got caught, with an off-duty maryland short female cop right there - you can imagine all the control issues she had!)
I didnt know that the waitress would have to pay for the meal out of her own pocket, and it happened to her 3 times that week- i felt just as horrible as the food tasted!!
oh and then there was making out with my boyfriends best friend- that was pretty horrible- but i needed to get out of the relationsip and didnt know how to- lame i know-
but thats it for me
