From what I understand, he owns homes in both Miami and Los Angeles. CSI:Miami films mainly in Manhattan Beach, CA but he does own a home in Miami and spends a lot of time there.

I'd say probably up his own butt. The guy has always had a higher regard for himself than the public does. I always get a good laugh when I watch CSI Miami. His overly dramatic, pregnant pauses remind me of William Shatner's Captain Kirk on the original Star Trek. Maybe someday he'll be as beloved as Bill Shatner, but I doubt it. The guy takes himself FAR too seriously.

He owns a house in Miami even though CSI:MIAMI is actually filmed in Manhattan Beach, California.
