the positive you saw was probably an evap line, you shouldnt read tests after the stated time (usually 10 mins). if you've had 3 negatives you prob arent pg, sorry.
i know how hard it is waiting for it to happen, when you want it so bad you can convince yourself your feeling the symptoms when really you aren't.
sometimes periods can be different to normal, red blood is usually a sign that its recent blood, its only if its brown that its old and could possibly be something other than a proper menstruation.
try to relax about it, easier said than done i know! take some time for yourself, have a weekend away or even just get a manicure or read a book, give it time and it will happen, stressing just makes the whole process take longer.
you could ask for a blood test, and if you are pg it should give you a definitive result, you want a quantative one where they take a couple of samples about a week apart and check the levels, if they go up you're probably pregnant, if they stay the same then you aren't.
good luck and i hope you get your positive soon.

"I don't wish to alarm you, but it is possible you are having an ectopic pregnancy. This is when the foetus gets lodged in the fallopian tubes. Sadly it cannot survive. This happened to me. Home pregnancy tests, and 1 at the doctors both showed negative.... yet i felt pregnant. I did bleed and went to the doctor to see if I could be miscarrying.
I was told ... "no ... loads of women have irregular bleeding" and was given tablets to stop the bleeding I had horrendous stomach cramps, and heavy bleeding and 5 weeks later had emergency abdominal surgery to remove the pregnancy.
An ectopic pregnancy is a very serious medical condition. Please don't be unduly alarmed .. it is also pretty rare. I would however, just to be on the safe side, request a blood test from your GP. I hope it is negative, and that next month or soon after it's positive!!
God Bless xxx

I just wanted to share my personal experience with you. I bleed for three days like a period and thought nothing of it well the next month I took a home test and it was positive so I called my doctor who said come in for a urine test and their test showed negative twice. I wanted a blood test but they didn't want to do it because they had two negative so then I showed them my three positives from home and demanded a blood test. They called me the next day apoloizing because I was pregnant. I was already eight weeks. So if you really feel strong about it and want to know for sure than get a blood test because you can have bleeding and be pregnant it is usually implantion bleeding. Good Luck and Baby Dust to you!!!

Well it says right on the tests that dont read after 10mins due to the possibility of a false postive. The only sure fire way your going to find out is to have a serum screening done (blood test). You also could be way to early for urine screening. They dont read true positives until your almost a month pregnant. So get the blood work and go from there. Best of Luck!

If you look at a pregnancy test after the time period has elapsed, then you will NOT get an accurate result. That line you saw after 10 mins was not a positive, but an evaporation line.
You probably aren't pregnant.

Im sorry to say but i very much doubt that you are pregnant. Its does say on the pregnancy tests that you shouldnt read them after 10mins as they give out a false reading. And im sure the urine test at the doctors would have came up positive if you were pregnant.

I doubt that you are pregnant. The urine test that was done at the doctor's was after your home tests and it was negative. You also had your period so I don't think you are pregnant. You will find out at the doctors.
