What it means is too many people trying to advise how to do a job and all have different ideas as to the best way to do it. It is like too many cooks in the kitchen all have different ways how to prepare a dish. One thinks more salt is needed, another one suggests an onoin should be added, one says it taste better with some butter. Insted of one cook, you have a lot more who can't agree on anything.

Too many cooks spoil the broth - means that if lots of people are doing things, the outcome will not be the best it could be and it will go wrong.

If many people do one thing everyone has individual ways and indeas of doing it, it means that combining all of these will just make a mess.

Too many people in the kitchen for cooking! Too much demanding and delegating to get anything done! That works the same way with bosses ('too many chiefs to see the indians')!!!! Delegate ONE cook aka employee for ONE thing NOT everyone for ONE thing!! Total chaos!!!

One cook may not know what the other cook put into the pot and adds the same ingredient or she might add another ingredient which is not compatible with what is already in the pot. This reflects all walks of life, not just cooking.

well my frnd it means something like if a work is done with many ppl in different ways then it is not either going to be accepted or rejected.
Bcos the work done by all the ppl in their own way will be greatful to each one so no one accepts and also it doesnot satisfy anyone at all.
so they that a work should be done by that kind of person who knows how to do it.

For example we cant do some cooking work until we know it perfectly.....
right?
similarly if a work is done with many ppl at da same time then it would definitely lead to a mess.

so that is what the statement mean you have asked.

If you get too many people doing one thing (like cooking), something is going to go wrong. Too much chaos, too many people trying to help isn't helpful. It's better to have one (or a couple) doing something. Too many creates problems.

If there are too many people involved than conflict will usually arise since not everybody will agree on everything. Also, that everybody has their own opinions and if you get too many opinions there will be a discrepancy.
