I was very surprised to see a company finally step out from the cookie cutter model. I am 5'8 and I use to be so thin growing up. Since getting older the weight has come on. I didnt feel attractive any more. So, I was working out, but my body couldnt handle the pain I was putting my self through. After seeing that commercial I have to say, I love how I look now. I am curvy and I love it. Thank goodness for Dove stepping up to the plate. Xx

I'm jealous, i'm a black girl but I don't have the "black girl bootie". Let's trade!! LMAO, no but I LOVE DOVE. I go to the web-site all the time, i order samples, use their coupons, buy their products. I love dove. I love the message that they are sending out, because I felt just like you. I'm 5'7" 230pds. I have a big chest and long beautiful hair but I thought I had to have a big butt to get guys to like me and be lighter or skinnier when I get alot of compliments on the way I walk, hair, eyes and everything. It's feels good being different, I mean everybody can't be a model. But I love dove and thanks for posting this question. And drop it like it's hot girl wit yo big oh booty, lol : )

I love those Dove ads too! I'm 5'9" and 145. I have no butt, but I have boobs and a gut. I've been mistaken for pregnant. The women in those ads have bodies sort of like mine. And they embrace it!

I heard that men who see those ads say "Eww, ick, why did they put those fat chicks on an ad??" Well they can kiss my pancake butt, because my husband likes me the way that I am, and he agrees with the Dove ads.

Wanna trade?? I'm 5'2" and 115 pounds, and women's jeans don't fit well on my body cause I have no hips or butt, but it all goes to my belly. The worst was finding a prom dress, cause they make them for super-tall skinny girls with NO chest (which hasn't been a problem here!) I don't like being petite.

YEAH!!! If it wasn't for my little poochy gut and my 'cowboy thighs' - I could look great too due to my skinny calfs, ankles, forearms, neck and face!!! However, I am no WHERE petite!! I was ALWAYS tall and SKINNY, but after kids - I CAN NOT get rid of the poochy tummy! I am 5'9" and weigh TOO MUCH (220)!! I'm working on it, though!! I love doveeeee too!

I love it too. It is one of the first times I can recall having bought a product solely to support their advertising campaign.
