As I rarely find more than 3 uncooked kernels, I was a little puzzled by your question. Maybe your popcorn doesn't pop as well in your microwave? Low wattage? I don't know. I use Orville Reddenbacher's Movie popcorn and pop it in one of two microwaves. I get 3 or fewer unpopped kernels.

Probably not too happy because for 5 uncooked kernels to be present that would mean the rest of the popcorn would be charcoal.

Sad, I'd expect the whole bag to have been filled with *popped* corn, not only 5 kernels : )

Actually, 5 unpopped sounds excellent. I air-pop mine in a dish in the microwave (plain corn, not in a bag) and I probably leave 2 tablespoons extra just to be "the unpopped" kernels.

very happy.

When I use Orville Redenbachers, I usually only get about 5 or 6 unpopped kernels. When I use Act-II popcorn, I get about 20 or more.

I would be very happy. Orville Redenbecker must have been the popcorn that was used because it honestly does pop better than the others.

That would be great. I think you would have to have it down to a science to only get 5 unpopped kernels!

Not happy, 'cause I'd have a micro to clean up from the bag that split open.
