No, even though money helps. I measure it by my level of happiness and feeling secure in the place I am in life. I don't get into all of the shallow feeling of money and owning cool things, they are just something that comes or it doesn't.

If thats what makes a person happy then yes. But no, I rate success by happiness.

You dont rate success by wealth, you should rate it by how happy you are.

i rate succes by liquid assets. cash. no point living in a big house nd driving a big car if you are struggling with house and car payments. but if you live in a tiny house but you have like 50 grand up in savings. in my book you are wealthy
