Heres the deal. The clamp hurts more than the actual piercing. Because it pinches the skin, it leaves you thinking that they are piercing it... so when they actuall poke the needle through, it doesnt hurt at all. It will be sore for a day or two after, because when you sit, your skin folds right there. So just be gentle with it. KEEP IT CLEAN! Infection hurts more than the piercing will. You'll love it, ive had mine for about 9 years now =)

Alrite i have had my belly button done since i was 15 i am now 17 first they will wipe around your belly button with a alcohol swab to make sure that its clean then tell your to pick a ring out of blue pink and silver ( i picked pink) they'll take a clamp to hold your skin out then stick a needle through then put the ring in and give you some hand santitizer to keep it clean wth this process only takes a minute it didnt hurt me but i always tell people it depends on how much pain you can take. Once you get it you will love it trust me!!! Hope you do it let me know when you do!!!!! :)

it depends on were u go but you'll go in , they will ask for id, then you'll go in the sit in a chair some places have u lay down , they will put some stuff on ur belly to clean the area, then mark the spot wit a marker , pull the top of ur belly button with a clamp then stick a needle through it real quick then they insert a ring or pole what ever u want , and give u instructions on how to take care of it , it doesn't hurt that bad its like a quick pinch, but u do have to take care of it and make sure u clean it good, but i would definitely get it i had mine done for almost a year and i love it

I just went in and had my nipples done. My Girlfriend was going to have her belly button done at the time but decided not to after we went over what the process is. You use a curved needle that will run the ring on the end and it hooks through the position you want. So they lace the needle through your skin with the ring on the end, if you are getting a stud. After the needle is through a end bolt is screwed on to secure it.

As far as pain, i dunno, I am pretty tough and i cursed alot when i got my nips done, grabbed the table so hard the gipsim board on the back fell apart. But that was my nips hurt like crazy. :(

Its not that bad, first they make a dot on the area there going to put it and see if you like it then they have you lay down and the clean the area with antiseptic (its cold) then they use a clamp to pull your skin out (it pinches a bit) and quickly push a needle through the skin, then push it all the way through with the hole following it with your new ring. Then they put the ball in your new ring to close it. Its quick and easy all over in about two minutes. It has the pain that's about the equivalent of getting a shot.

mine just felt like a bee sting and then was sore for about a week . . . they clamp the top of your bellybutton and pierce it through the top- so when you wear the jewelry, it covers your belly button- make sense?

usually belly button rings are about $20 bucks a pop- and they break easily, so you gotta be careful with them.

and KEEP IT CLEAN OR YOU WILL BE REGRETTING IT!!

It is done with a hollow needle, which is taken out and then the ring is put in. It hurts a little, more than ears, but not THAT bad. Good luck!
