Is that true? Because what if the situation is boring, and there really is nothing to do or everything has been done already. What's your opinion?

This is a question of philosophy. A philosopher would be better fit to answer this question rather than a psychologist. One doesn't judge another's "boringness" with science.

If there's nothing to do, then find something to do. And when you do find something to do, it doesn't mean you're less boring because you might find a boring activity to do; like sewing. Boring people may have tons of fun playing Bingo for example. They aren't bored, but they are still boring.

Sometimes people who are bored aren't boring people.
Sometimes people who aren't bored aren't boring people.
Sometimes boring people aren't bored.
Sometimes boring people are bored.

"Only boring people are bored" is one of the few things parents say that poisons the world with ignorance. You cannot judge how boring a person is based on how bored he is. That's ridiculous.

I'm certain that even the most brilliant (and non-boring) of people have been bored (Beethoven, Einstein, P Diddy). Boredom happens to all people. How one handles his boredom doesn't imply the boringness in his personality; it implies, at most, his ability to entertain himself.

I think it IS true. How little imagination to be "bored" when there's so much in the world to do and be interested in pursuing. How childish too to claim to be bored and want someone else to make you "un-bored". L:ife is pretty sad when you have to be constantly entertained to be happy. Intelligent people are never bored. In fact, they never seem to have enough time to pursue all of their interests in life.

Interesting people can make any situation not boring - by coming up with something creative to do.

Not much at all. I think its that they are interested in life and wish to relay it to others but dont have the verbal capacity to interest you in what they have to say. Or, you are bored, and so, call the other 'boring'.

Pretty close to the truth, I'd say---------what goes around, comes around, and you reap what you sow!

Agree with first respondant that an interesting person will also be interested in just about anything.

Interesting people always find something to do. You could lock an interesting person in a room and they'd find a way to keep themselves from boredom.
