My Wife needs 7 to 8 hours. She always goes to bed early, but is awake in no time early in the morning.

As for me, I need about 7 hours, but I can usually manage 6 and sometimes 5 or 4. Anything under 5 can make me be sleepy all day long, but still I am able to do what I need to do. I can go to bed late, but need to wake up late as well.

I am the wife and I need more sleep. I only get to sleep in one day a week and usually the sum for the night might reach 9 hours. I work mostly swing shifts so I only get about 5 - 6 hours at least 6 nights a week. So I expect to be left alone on Sunday mornings when I don't have to work.
In a perfect world, I would love to sleep for 8 - 10 hours a night BUT I am a parent of four....so I am kind of over that fantasy.

I sleep about 5 hours a day, sometimes closer to 4. My wife usually gets 7-10 hours. I guess I'll sleep when I'm retired.

I go to bed earlier than my husband, but we both wake up at the same time in the morning (6am). On weekends, he will sleep in until at least 10am and I usually wake up around 7am. I think it's because I had a job for twelve years that I had to wake up at 5am for. I'm programmed to be an early bird and my husband seems to be a natural night owl!

My husband goes to bed much later than I, but I go to bed much earlier and get up earlier. That is just how our schedules work. So technically he "sleeps in" more than I do, but I think the hours of sleep are similiar.

Funny! Me, me,me! I sleep in on the weekends (8:30ish) and he gets up to care for our kiddo. He lets me sleep in because I care for squirt at night. It is a fair trade off I think. I have to say though, I do like to sleep!

In general I think I sleep more than my husband. I think it's because I need the beauty sleep!
