I would not have got married at age 17 (or at any age to the man I divorced) However we are actually still friends, just not compatible.
I was 5 years younger in age than he, but if you could put an age number on responsibility and common sense I was 10 years older!!
I had to grow up real fast and take care of us and I think I missed out on a lot when I had to become a responsible adult and I regret that, cause I never can get back those years even tho I tried when I got divorced.

I would pass all my classes and graduate on time. I would have looked for better guys to hang out with. I would try to find my husband before I actually met him, and then know how to control him better. He wouldn't have a chance against me. I'd get a job sooner. I'd have all the freedom in the world, because I'd be able to bamboozle my parents to let me do anything I wanted. I'd take college courses and get sh*t accomplished in life. Then by now it would all be over and I'd be rolling in the dough. I can still do that, and I plan to, but it sure would have been fun to get a head start.
