Or written another way, if it don't make dollars it don't make sense.

Either way, this simple philosophy means a lot. Think about it, in order to do something that is productive for a people it has to make money, not take money. Using that logic, wouldn't it be better for the world if we stopped spending money on war and sarting buidling businesses everywhere instead?

True. However, I think you need to spread that philosophy to those who are causing the trouble, not to those that respond, of whom I think you are intending. In other words, the United States takes all the blame for the current war and very few people blame the regime that caused it.

Anyways, not to get off point, but in general you are right. Setting up businesses that are productive makes sense. Of course, the military is, in a sense, a business. I work around the contractors that help to defend our troops. That money spent is spent on AMERICANS. That makes a certain amount of sense as well. And you are also missing the point that we are working on building Iraq back up, and that includes the very businesses you talk about. Several people in my company have been on tours in Iraq to oversee contracts that worked on BUILDING, not destroying. If you weren't so blinded by Bush hatred, you would know that.

theres business in war, how can u not see it. building bombs, any weapons of destruction (planes, carriers, blah blah blah), military. Thats why we in debit. whats not productive about attackin iraq, we're gettin oil and makin money, right?! oh nope just EXXOn mobile is making money. Productivity does come from war though, seriously. The great depression ended with ww2 its massive productivity in making clothing to military stuff. Exxon making all that money goes to ther shareholders/ workers and gets spent at retail places or whatever. Why do u think korea and iran are doing this nuclear weapons stuff, so they can bribe the world to give them "economical incentives/support," Korea admits it, they want USA to give them money, engery, unfreeze assets in malaysia. do some research everyone is about the money
