Just burn them from your CDs again or download them again from where you bought them. Unless you mean music that you stole - can't help you there.

There ARE recovery programs; however, the good ones are not free. It's also very difficult to recover music.
Next time, put 2nd hard drive (slave) in and dedicate it to your music (& possibly pictures and documents). That way, when you flick up your C drive you'll still have your "important stuff".

*IF* you mean you did a SYSTEM RECOVERY, meaning you restored your computer to a LIKE NEW state like out of the box new, You're out of luck. By doing so, you wiped out everything on the hard drive.
*IF* you mean you used a System Restore point, your music files should still be on your hard drive.

go download it again...it is pretty much lost
unless u saved it to a disc
then just insert disc..go to the drive it is in..when u see the songs...right click..select .. select all..right click select copy
now go to my music..right click..paste

From your backup.
If you erased your HD and don't have a backup, it may be gone for good.
