if you was on your way home late at night, you didnt drive, and you had about 6 miles to go to get home?

if the only ways you could go was either: down a deserted 2 mile long street that stretched on endlessley: through a large park: or down a series of alley ways.
which way would you choose to go?

the 2 mile long street was very leafy had lots of trees either side of the street. the houses were all dark and silent, no lights were on in any of em.
you realised you had to get home, it was 9:30pm at night. which way would you go?

I would call a taxi or my partner. No way would I walk home and I ALWAYS make sure that my mobile is fully charged and I keep it on me instead of in my bag.
I deffinately wouldn't take the alleys - too scary, and I wouldn't take the 2 mile stretch through the park. Again far too scary and besides, if it is only 2 miles, I will still have 4 miles to go!

The way that offered most opportunity to wreak havock; adjust roadworks, put "for sale" signs from one house into another, collect signs, put garden gnomes into positions from the karma sutra, relocate bus stops, etc.

6 miles is nothing - what hour and a half walking, 50 minutes jogging.

Sounds like a laugh to me.

I suspect I might be the dangerous type you were expecting people to be wary of.

Alley ways it wouldn't bother me too much. The countryside freaks me out for some reason! But the obvious answer is to bunk the Taxi!

down the tree lined streets with dark houses...because at least there are houses there..and if anything happened - if you made enough noise & fuss...somebody would hear you. if you go through the park & down alleyways...there is nobody around at all to help in an emergency...if there were to be one!!

BUT...i am scared of the dark..doesnt help much eh?

I pick the 2-mile long street. I can see and hear better what is around me. I also have my cell phone ready for 911 if need be. Depending on the neighborhood - I pray I am NEVER in that situation!! PLEASE CAR, DON'T FAIL ME NOW!!!
