English? Come on. They should make even more English classes mandatory for every major. Do you know the number of college students and adults that can't write or speak well?, I am sure you can even see by the written questions and responses on YA that many people write poorly and have bad grammar. Also, think about poor oral communication skills.
As a business major, I would think your written and oral communication skills would be of prime importance to you. It is important that you understand speech, are able to write good business letters, as well as different other varieties of writing. People that communicate poorly often are overlooked, considered undeducated and not taken seriously.
As a side note, one thing I learned from my college education is that there is invaluable knowledge that you will gain from every class. I think English classes are actually some of the most useful, but even classes I took like art appreciation, walk/jog/run, statistics, pre-clac & algebra, literature, history, chemistry, I mean, every single class I took that was unrelated to my major has helped me. Because I LEARNED. How many times have you engaged in conversation with someone and didn't have a clue as to what they were talking about? Being exposed to different disciplines will increase your knowledge and make you a more well-rounded person.
Try to be more open minded about ancillary classes. They are beneficial to you in ways that you may not be considering.

It appears like there is a disconnect among what you desire to do and what your plan is. The PR foremost would possibly not fairly aid you mobilize men and women. I feel you would be extra considering historical past, so you'll gain knowledge of how those problems constructed. That means, you would be educated while you're speakme with men and women and will allow them to recognise why they will have to care. That being mentioned, PR foremost and entrepreneurship minor are best for legislation tuition. The colleges care approximately your GPA a lot more than your foremost. If you benefit from the guides, keep it up and hold your GPA prime! Good success!

I was a business major then later became a certified accountant. As part of my daily life, I have to write reports, analyze issues and issue financial statements. I consider it crucial to be able to understand an issue in depth and yet be able to communicate it so that anybody (like my CEO or the bankers from Zurich) can understand. Taking english courses helps to build your analytical ability and also your writing ability. Nothing worse than a brilliant accountant who can't be understood.

One of my colleagues tells me that she makes a first cull of letters of application for jobs by taking all those with spelling mistakes and throwing them away. Then she examines the ones which are left.
That clear enough?
