Actually, the Annunciation would fall on March 25--nine months before Christmas. I don't know if they'd hold Annunciation Day on March 26 if the 25th falls on a Sunday, as it did this year.

Annunciation Day commemorates the day that the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would bear the Messiah, Jesus. It was the day she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. (See Luke 1.)

Other than that, I don't think March 26 is a holiday in and of itself.

There are no holidays or observances listed for today. It is Leonard Nimoy's birthday though! (Dr. Spock on Star Trek)
