I want to play in the Floyd Cramer style. I am musicly inclined. I play the harmonic well by ear.

It would be money well spent to find a piano teacher and take a few lessons. That will start you on your way to using the proper technique. If you have an ear for music, you will be able to pick up from there and improve your abilities.
I play guitar, banjo, keyboards, mandolin, harmonica, saxophone and a few other instruments, all by ear. I wish I had taken a few piano/keyboard lessons before I developed some of the bad habits I have now.
Saxophone was the only instrument I play that I actually bought a book and learned the correct way to play.

Practice, practice and practice. Then do some more practice.
