I dreamed I was working a catering event at Carnegie Hall (I am a bartender)
I was in this room with a window that looked out into this courtyard/airshaft (In the dream, Carnegie Hall was really tall, like 40 floors, and I was about halfway up) The window was small, frosted and kind of high up, like a bathroom window, but it was open.
I looked out the window, and in short succession, two guys and a girl jumped out a higher window to their deaths. I could hear the "splat" sound (I remember the girl was wearing a long red skirt)
I looked over at the director of catering and she said, really nonchalantly," Oh, yeah, people are always doing that here"
When I continued to look surprised, she said," The janitor is really busy"
There was a big metal staple stuck into the wall, halfway up to the window and she asked,"Do you want to try it?"
Downstairs, in the main theatre there was a performance of "Once Upon A Mattress" going on

This was just a really grim, morbid dream. What does it mean

I think this dream becomes dreadfully obvious and clear if you look at it in social or political terms.

You were working as a Bartender (whoops, sorry). A working class job.

People were killing themselves just to get *halfway* up the hall and stand on a slender metal *staple* in the wall. *And* other people there were being dreadfully non-chalant about the suicides, death and carnage. Kind of like when Marie Antoinette was in historical France with her "Let them eat cake" remarks (about the poor people who were starving because they couldn't afford bread).

People were dying, to get *halfway* up (to a window, and maybe freedom?). And nobody cared, except for you, and you were considered a nobody yourself because you were the bartender and *at work*.

Think. You live in the United States don't you, or at least nearby? ^_^ Your brain was trying to cut through a *lot* of media hype and denial....and warn you that the Police State is coming for you. Or some such.

The only good news is, you are at least *above* the fairy-tale performance down below, and not exactly killing yourself here, but the fact that you are being asked "Do you want to try it?" is nothing more nor less than a thinly veiled threat.

Still....that is one way to look at it. ^_^ There are other, more subtle and possibly less immediately *true* ways of doing it. And if there is one thing I have learned in my life, it is that the subconscious mind can be shockingly *literal* when it comes to dreams.

Hey now trolls, that's *literal*, not liberal, geeez...o_O

I hope this helps....take care and stay safe.

Those dreams that have several things going on at the same time can drive you CRAZY!! I have heard if you have stress of your own and may not even recognize it - it could come out in your dreams. The chaotic is because of stress NOT because you are foreseeing someones death. I would stand back and do a 'self check' at work and at home to see where the stress is and try to release it. Maybe write this stuff down in a journal. Good luck! If anything - QUIT WATCHIN THOSE HORROR MOVIES LATE AT NIGHT!!!!

The obvious would be frustration, anxiety, depression; is someone manipulating you to do things you don't want to do? Almost doesn't sound like a dream. Sometimes our souls get out there and wander around while we sleep and it's easy to call these wanderings dreams. There is a technique called "lucid dreaming"...when you realize you are in a "dream" state there is a way to manipulate it. Not enough time or words to express it here but you might want to read up on it.

Your dream potential which you have been feeling such as you're at conflict and in the midst of a conflict on your guy or woman existence, yet (to not cut back the type you're feeling) those people you interpret as adverse impacts are unquestionably fairly innocuous. The dream potential that in case you come back to be certain the people on your existence as being as a lot in desire of help as you're, you would be waiting to narrate to them greater effectual. lower back to not be offensive, however the dream potential which you have been thinking too a lot of your self and not sufficient of others, believing that issues are greater effectual for them than they are for you. you ought to go searching and understand that there are people on your existence who desire you, and that they are yearning so you might understand that they can't proceed to combat with you. Ask others how they are feeling, volunteer with the homeless, or donate old clothing to goodwill: you will experience greater effectual! The dream shows that there are childrens on your destiny: given the variety of toddler chicks...i bypass to assume which you will paintings for a college or daycare, or volunteer at a new child's well being midsection. i need to be incorrect nevertheless....stay removed from fertility drugs! hehe.
