I'm looking for some quotes or sayings about history, that would be philosophically, simple, easy to understand but which would have a big and true meaning about the history, and one that will touch peoples hearts and will make them to think about history.

This is an original of mine and it tells a good bit about the illegal immigration problem of today in this country. It implies both sides of the issue.
