Is it visible by looking at the tire or can it only be seen when the tire is taken off?

it's on the side...p.s. it is the maximum pressure when car is fully loaded...if you drive around way under the maximum load like most people it is okay to over inflate the tires. Cars handle better and get better mileage over inflated...if it says 35 I'd got at least 42, if it says 41 I'd go at least 45. Also it is a cold measurement...so don't drive 50 miles on the interstate and then stop and check it...check it shortly after beginning to drive it...the local filling station or at home if u have a compressor.
