My degree was a mixture of social sciences with a lot of sociology. So far I have worked as a caseworker for the state and for a nonprofit, in sales, for a newspaper as a writer, in marketing, as a social sciences researcher, as consultant to 2 school systems on homelessness, as a job trainer, and as a manager. Other ppl with similar degrees have worked as substitute teachers, have taken summer courses to become certified teachers, in various state merit positions from employment counselor to mental health worker, and in similar jobs for private agencies, as shelter managers, and in the military and I am sure this is a very incomplete list. Talk with your school's placement office, your state labor dept, and with any alumni matching programs. Make a list of any part time jobs, hobbies, extra cirricular activities, etc. Look at what web sites you hang out at and could pass for an expert. See what pattern develops as to your interests and abilities.

Maybe a data-processing researcher, or marketing. Nothing much more without grad school. Do some business courses and go the business-marketing route if you actually want to make money.

Regarding some other answers: social work is another degree - usually an MSW - it's not something you can do straight out of school without certification and training.
