Actually bad happens to everyone....everyone! Some keep their problems or trauma...to themselves feeling...why cry about it out loud to everyone....when most can't really help solve the problem. One always think that the grass is always greener on the other side...or that rich people don't have it as bad as I do....people are good for putting up..."appearences"....they may look and act as though nothing is wrong while inside their world is topsy turvy too....the pressures I deal with...no one at my job or family members know.... I had a sister who passed a few years ago from cancer.... she never let us know until her time was just about up.... her reason.... why bring others down who can't heal her terminal condition.... whining never solved anything.... and saying whoa is me was not her thing.... she just enjoyed what she had left. And that's how we remembered her.... now sometimes there are things that we go through that can help some one else but you just have to know that people don't always want to hear the bad...so be selective....someone could need to hear what your going through and you'd be surprised whose going through it too.... Plus don't be afraid to tell that person your talking about in your question to "shut the f**k up!" and let someone else have the floor for a change ;)

I think it is a subconscious plea for someone to care about them.
Instead of spending quality time (notice, I did not say quantity) with their children (talking with them, not to them) parents rush about trying to make the living standard higher and leave out the emotional standards. A lot of parents don't know what their children think and why they think that way.
I see it a lot when I go to the mall. I was in the elevator when a young girl got on pressed the button and then swore when her nail broke on the button. I asked her what happened and she was shocked! I was surprised at her response. She told me and calmed down. I commiserated with her and she seemed less stressed.
I think they need more responsibility and more quality face time with the folks. Just my observation.

They lash out, because they do have everything they want, what they don't realize is they are missing entirely what they need. When Possessions replace love, it creates a huge void within, that leaves a constant state of unrest. Another explination is they just don't know what it's like to be the other person, therefore no compassion of their circumstance.

People have a hard time expressing themselves to one another. They want to say what they feel, but often when they try to get the point across they feel that the only way is to do it in a way that will "force" understanding on you. They go over the top because of frustration from this.

it's easy to be mean and harsh than it is to be nice and try to get to know some one.
