Hi, I'm having a hard time working out these 4 problems on my review sheet. Could someone please help me the following problems and show me the steps or the formulas, our book in school is not any help-it's old? Thanks:) (Best Answer will be picked).

These are the set ups:

V=f λ
=0.92 Hz * 0.68 m = 0.626 m/s

The wave velocity = square root of the (Tension / linear mass density)
= (113 N / 0.005 kg/m)^1/2

t = d/v (light)
= 1100 m / 299,792,458 m/s = 1100 m / 3.00*10^8 m/s

t = d/v (sound)
= 1100 m / 344 m/s

t = d/v (sound in water) one way
= 181 m / 1500 m/s
multiply by 2 to get time for round trip.
