I saw "The Host" las week and i have to say I loved it!!!
it was really well made, the characters where so full of personality, everyone had something to add to the storyline.
The Host was a combination of comedy, drama, sci-fi, adventure and a whole lot more.
I highly recomend it, you will have a great time.

I thought it was pretty good.
It did a little more than the average monster movie(usually American produced), where you have one or more protagonists--usually scientists--looking for ways to destroy the monster while there are cuts to the monster (or monsters) getting people...
This film is a bit more realistic, as the story is centered around a family that is broken up because of the beast, and try to come together with meager resources....all the while, the government is spinning their own ideas of what is going on.
I thought it was pretty good for a 10 million film, that looked twice...or at least three times the budget....and I may add it to my video library soon.

It's not playing anywhere near me.
Chicago i think is the closest to me... I want to see it, but i guess i can wait.
