Its been a while but I always expected honest communication and having some fun together.

Honest!!!! Good companionship, good conversation, maybe a dance or two and see if we click. If we do then we go for a second date. I get a feeling that you really want to know if I expect sex on a first date. Absolutely not. A goodnight kiss would be nice if we are both comfortable with it. Sex is the least important thing to me on a first date, or consecutive dates for that matter. Getting to know the person is much more important.

Just courtesy and attentiveness basically . I would hope they would be open to suggestion on where I chose to take her , within reason of course . On a first date I'd like going to a comedy - dinner theater for laughs to break the ice and perhaps drinks if she would like one . I wouldn't make any presumptions ahead of time about how I expect the evening to end .

I would expect to find out something about them such as their family, job, interests and hobbies. So they shouldn't be shy in talking about themselves or even about asking questions about me, but not to get too personal. I would also expect for them to be a gentleman by them not expect anything physical. I guess I'd just expect a nice time and something fun - not just the typical dinner and a movie sort of thing and not any bars - I'd want to get to know the person without any alcohol in them.

A hug. My husband and I didn't even kiss until 3rd date and sex came after over 2 weeks of us seeing each other everyday. Sex on the first date is just smutty!! If you two like each other get to know each other for a while before jumping in! =)

I would expect them to pay for dinner and the movie. I would not expect anymore than a kiss. I would not go all the way on the first date.

Good conversation, lots of laughing, some awkwardness at first. If it goes well, maybe a walk in a park or on the beach and a hug at the end.
