You have gotten a lot of very silly answers! Aussie Witch is on the money, and i think you know it or you wouldn't sound so worried in your Question. He is by the way a high priest. You should find a wiccan, you can do this by going on a site called witchvox and following the directions there on how to find someone close to you, if you do not know anyone personally.
Even if you havent called the elementals or left your circle open...something is certainly happening!
Good Luck and i hope you get it sorted out quickly!
Blessed Be

Firstly my foreword on this matter is to reassure you that these phenomena do exist and those who experience such a phenomenon can be explained in part by para-psychology and partly through spirituality, as I will attempt to explain. water is deeply connected to the moon, which in turn rules pieces, which rules deep subconscious voices which may explain the way you feel the water is calling you. my reason is the notion that in the tarot, pieces is the last sign in the astrological calender and the hebrew letter assingned to this card is Qoph, representing the back of the head where the subconscious mind exists. Drawing away from the tarot, your feelings that you could just walk and disppaer into the sea may represent the journey into the afterlife where in Greek mythology, symbolic of death was the jouney across a sea into Haides, the afterlife as such, hence your feeling you could 'disappear', like one was crossing over to the other side. Either way you are obviously deeply connected to the roots of water, mysterious, and extensively sensitive to influence but without the material sense of the word.

Are you going through any stress in your life? The sound of moving water is considered one of the most peacefull sounds that nature has, and it is easy to let your mind slip away when near it.
While i don't believe in "elementallists" all that much, i know that some people are more comforted by water than fire, and some like sitting in the grass looking at the clouds more than sitting by a river.
You seem to have an afinity twards water, so enjoy it. Just don't loose your head and end up drowning, maybe find other places to help you with your stress. i find that talking to God when i'm all stressed out helps alot.
You don't have to be all on your knees and in a cathedral or anything. Actually, you could do it while sitting by a river enjoying the water :)
Hope you have fun, and be happy that the waters are moving sooner this year than usual.

It could be that I am a water sign that I have an affinity with bodies of water. I kept unintentionally living in flats along the canal in Dublin, 4 different addresses. It could be to do with the water elementals, nymphs, that you felt called. Masaru Emoto has shown that water is affected by human language and thought, maybe it can communicate with us as well. Seas and rivers had gods or spirits in mythology. Try communicating with the spirit of the sea or river telepathically next time it calls you.

Water is of course an Element..Have you recently called upon the Elementals?? This must be grounded immediately, if this is the case..The Elementals can be very dangerous, in your case Water..Don't have a bath, don't go near any body of Water at all..Are you a practising Witch?? If so you have left your Circle open and have not closed it properly after ritual..If you are a Witch you should know what to do, if you have done none of the above, then I don't know why the Water Element is active around you..Seek out a Wiccan, tell them the problem and they should be able to ground you..I can't help you from my keyboard.. Love and Light .. Blessed Be.. )O(

The water calls to me too, all it means is that you have a close connection with it. Maybe you should take a swim or over some food for the animals of water. Don't fight it.

Most of your body is water, about 70%. Could simply be like calling to like. I know what you mean, the Sea enthralls me. But I have eaten in too many Fisherman Missions to know where that sort of yearning leads - to the cold, dark bottom.

I and other people I have spoken to feel drawn to water. If looking at the rolling sea it feels that I want to jump in and become one with the waves.
Can't do it though, because it doesn't work.
Next time you feel it let your imagination flow or just meditate.

I can't say that I've ever wanted to just walk in and disappear but I often feel that the ocean is beckoning me. I love to travel, I love boats, especially sailing boats, and I love the feel of sea under me. Maybe you should try a boat ride and see how that makes you feel.

Answer the call. Get to know the water as one of the four elements- water, fire, air and Earth. You don't actually walk into it? or do you? Is it an spiritual experience?
