But no adds for republican candidates are anywhere to be seen. come on liberals if you are really for the fairness doctrine shouldn't you be upset about this as much as you are about talk radio?

Thanks Map for at least staying on topic. But if I raised the question shouldn't that count as someone asking for equal time?

Which republicans have requested that ad be put but have been refused? All the fairness doctrine says is that a media outlet has to make equal time, or space, available to the opposition candidate. It's up to that candidate to take advantage of it. If they request it, they'll get equal time.

I don't know why it should be funny, or even odd for that matter. Her campaign paid for the ad, Republicans can do the same, there is nothing to stop them from doing so. It's not as if YA gave her the ad, she paid big bucks for it, and so can anyone else who wants to use their advertising boxes. Did you really think it's some biased YA conspiracy lol? Everyone's money is good to YA, so if you don't like Hillary being up there all by her lonesome, write to your candidate and tell them they need to spend the money to place one themselves. What's to be upset about? That she decided to spend money on this and they didn't?

I try to tune out EVERY ad.

I think people should be free to run, or not run, whatever ads they like.

Same with talk radio - let them do what the people ask for. The free market makes these decisions!

What are you talking about? This was paid for by her campaign. You can't blame liberals for Republicans not purchasing their own add on here. Tell THEM to fork out the cash for add if having a campaign add on Yahoo is so important.

Ads are paid for by the campaign.

If a republican candidate wants an ad, she/he will need to pay for it

I heard on the news this morning that the Chairman of Yahoo attended her fundraiser in Hollywood over the weekend. So I am not surprised to see her so heavily promoted.

It has to do with placing the ad...and paying for it....Im sure better ads in better places would be more bountiful for Republicans. Placing an add here is akin to placing an add in the Sunday Comics....
